On December 6th,2018, Ijevan Civic Youth Center hosted a seminar entitled “Stereotypes, Prejudices, Discrimination, Its Types, International Settlements”, on the initiative of Arpine Yeritsyan, coordinator of Ijevan Civic Youth Center.
The seminar was attended by 17 students of Ijevan Branch of “Yerevan State University” Foundation.
The seminar was conducted by lawyer Anahit Chilingaryan.
The purpose of the seminar was to present to the participants the essence of stereotypes, equality, discrimination, prejudice and equal, differentiated and discriminatory attitudes.
During the seminar entitled “Stereotypes, Prejudices, Discrimination, its Types, and International Settlements”, the trainer presented the types of discrimination and the rights of equality. It was emphasized that discrimination could never be considered positive.
The seminar was in an interactive and engaging atmosphere.
