On February 12 and 13, 2019, YSU Ijevan branch hosted “Contemporary Issues of Education” and “How do people Learn?“ seminars, conducted by Serob Khachatryan, Education Expert, lecturer of YSU History of Philosophy Department.
The two-day seminars were attended by the representatives of YSUIB administrative and professorial staff.
During the first seminar on “Contemporary issues of education,” the participants got acquainted with the changes that took place in the world, the changes that affect students.
It was emphasized that we need to consider students life outside of the University, in order to effectively organize the learning process.
One of the factors influencing the students is the increase in the flow of information as a result of which there is a deficit of attention among students. The more information we have, the more we are distracted. This circumstance complicates the learning process.
According to the tutor today everything is adapted to a person. However, education is effective when a person adapts to the learning process.
