Tigran Kharatyan Cognitive and linguistic approach in teaching professional lexi­con. – In the article it is discussed the means of selection and presentation of ter­mi­no­lo­gi­cal lexicon on the example of the theme of “Mergers and Acquisitions”. In the theo­re­ti­cal part of the article it is being described two types of knowledge – epis­te­mo­lo­gi­cal and procedural types, when cognitive and linguistic competencies are being pro­du­ced. The main provisions of the constructivist model of learning are summarizing, which main aim is considered to be formation of “Individual construct”, and de­monst­ra­tion of possibilities of cognitive modeling of educational material for achieving the aim. The author introduces the concept of cognitive modeling reflecting the conceptual sys­tem of a particular knowledge area and communication between its elements, as a di­dac­tic introduction and explanation of the reception of new terminological lexicon.
