The Academic Council is a collegial body that plans, coordinates, and regulates YSU IB educational methodical, and scientific research, as well as scientific and technical activities.

The YSU IB Directorate is a consultative body attached to the Director, formed by the order of YSU IB Director and operates within the framework of the powers assigned by the Academic Council.
