The competition is held in the following categories:

"Applied Arts" specialization category (1 prize) - participating department: Faculty of Applied Arts,

"Natural Sciences" specialization category (1 prize) - participating department: Faculty of Natural Sciences

"Humanities" specialization category (1 prize) - participating department: Faculty of Humanities,

"Economics" specialization category (1 prize) - participating department: Faculty of Economics.

The winner of the annual “Teaching Excellence Award” competition at the Ijevan branch of the “Yerevan State University” Foundation is the person who has received the highest score in the above-mentioned categories 1-4.

The deadline for submitting applications is April 26, 2025.

The participant of the competition must submit the following documents:

1. application,

2. curriculum vitae (CV),

3. a list of courses taught in the current academic year, approved by the head of the department,

4. examples of classroom activities using active learning and innovative methods, as well as at least one example of a video-recorded lecture,

5. student evaluations for courses taught during the academic year as feedback results,

6. examples of work submitted by students during the course (if any),

7. a letter of support from the dean or head of the department,

8. research and teaching-methodological works on the topics of the subjects taught during the last 5 years (if any),

9. letter(s) of support from students who have participated in the candidate’s classes during the last 2 years (if any),

10. materials of at least two courses taught in the current academic year, posted on the “E-learning” platform.

The competition application can be completed electronically.

The competition is held according to the procedure for organizing and conducting the annual "Teaching Excellence Award" competition at the Ijevan branch of the "Yerevan State University" Foundation.
