The Ijevan Branch of the "Yerevan State University" Foundation, pursuant to Decision No. 92/4 of the YSU IB Scientific Council dated September 25, 2026, and Order No. 148-¢1 of the YSU IB Director dated October 1, 2026, titled "On Announcing a Competition to Fill Faculty Dean Positions and Organizing the Election Process," announces a competition to fill the following vacant positions:

1. Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences,

2. Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts.

1. Requirements for candidates

A person who meets the following conditions may participate in the competition for the Dean of the Faculty.

1. has the academic title of professor or associate professor,

2. has the academic degree of doctor of sciences or candidate of sciences,

3. has at least 5 years of experience in scientific and pedagogical work,

2. Nomination of candidates

Candidates for the position of Dean are nominated by the structural divisions of the faculty or by self-nomination.

3. List of documents required for nomination

Candidates must submit the following package of documents within the specified timeframe.

1. decisions of the relevant divisions or the self-nominated application,

2. personal registration sheet,

3. program of the candidate for Dean,

4. autobiography,

5. copies of the certificate of higher education (diploma), diploma of scientific degree, certificate of scientific title,

6. list of published scientific works and inventions,

7. written consent of the nominated candidate (if the nomination was made by the division).

4. Deadline and procedure for document submission

The deadline for document submission is October 23, 2026 (by 18:00).

In accordance with the Director's order, and to avoid a conflict of interest, documents are accepted by A. Makaryan, Advisor to the Director of the YSU Ijevan Branch.
