The Chair of Foreign Languages was reunited on the basis of the Chairs of English and French, as well as the Russian Language Section. Adhering to its traditions, the chair continues to carry out multidisciplinary scientific and educational works. Educational programs are aimed at advanced learning of foreign languages. Theoretical and practical courses enable students to successfully continue their studies in master's programs at various universities. The scientific works of the chair develop in the directions of various modern linguistic disciplines. The lecturers of the department publish textbooks, educational manuals, monographs, scientific articles, which are dedicated to various problems of modern linguistics. The teaching staff of the department actively participates in national and international conferences.
