The aim of the program is to prepare a teacher with fundamental knowledge, psycho-pedagogical skills and methodological abilities in the field of Russian language and literature study, practical application and teaching, providing
formation of psycho-pedagogical skills with situational, group and interpersonal guidance models,
systematic language knowledge and communication skills,
oriented communication skills in the Russian-speaking environment and in various contexts,
formation of targeted presentations of general research skills in the linguistic and pedagogic fields,
up-to-date knowledge and practical skills regarding Russian language teaching methodology,
targeted combination of national and foreign realities, things and value systems in the fields of language, culture, social life and science,
purposeful / interested communication with foreign language culture,
formation of theoretical principles and preliminary teaching experience regarding pedagogical activities.
Graduates of the program "Russian language and literature" can get a job in institutions of secondary vocational education as
teacher of Russian language and Russian literature,
work in information agencies,
in publishing houses and editorial offices,
in international organizations, where knowledge of Armenian and Russian is necessary,
in advertising agencies,
in museums,
in public and private enterprises and offices.
Graduates of the program can continue their studies at a master's degree.
