- A career fair entitled "New Career Opportunities and Prospects" was held at Ijevan branch of YSU
The main goal of the event is to support the socio-economic integration of our compatriots forcibly displaced from Artsakh, contributing to increasing their competitiveness in the labor market and solving employment problems in the Republic of Armenia.
The event was attended by YSU Vice-Rector for Development and Innovation M. Hovhannisyan, Eurasia International University Vice-Rector for Educational and Methodological Work R. Markosyan, Acting Director of YSU Ijevan Branch A. Makaryan, Deputy Director M. Otaryan, Head of YSU Career and Alumni Center K. Nazaryan, employers, job seekers, participants, and students.
More than 25 employers from various sectors (programming centers, hotel and restaurant chains, supermarkets, factories, as well as scientific institutes) participated in the fair, presenting current and expected vacancies in their organizations.
During the career fair, meetings were organized between employers and job seekers (particularly from Artsakh), CV collecting, and presenting vacant positions.
Within the framework of the fair, courses on developing job searching skills, public speaking, personal branding, and labor conflict management were held (by N. Melkonyan, L. Hakobyan, V. Harutyunyan), as well as professional courses by Digital Brains and Armenian Code Academy companies.
The branch emphasizes such events, which contribute to increasing the competitiveness of our citizens in the labor market and solving employment problems.
