On December 13, 2024 a lecture on the topic " Mshak newspaper as a source for the study of everyday social processes" was held at the Ijevan branch of YSU, which was led by Vladimir Poghosyan, head of the grant program of the same name, lecturer at the Department of Armenian History and Social Studies. The lecture was attended by members of the administrative staff of YSU IB, lecturers and students.

On November 23, 2024 representatives of the scientific and educational public organization "Wikimedia Armenia" visited the Ijevan branch of YSU: NGO President Arshak Shahenyan, Quality Content Manager Mher Bekaryan, Course Manager Artashes Tadevosyan, and Event Coordinator David Sargsyan. The purpose of the visit was to open the Wikiclub of the scientific and educational public organization "Wikimedia Armenia" at YSU IB.

Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between YSU IB and the "Bridge of Hope" NGO on December 3, 2024 the “Bridge of Hope” NGO for the Protection of the Rights of Children and Youth with Disabilities held a regional workshop entitled “Sport for Equal Opportunities” at Ijevan branch of YSU, which was attended by 135 representatives of general education institutions and community structures of the region.

On November 29, 2024 career fair entitled “New Career Opportunities and Prospects” was held at the Ijevan branch of YSU, which was organized in partnership with Yerevan State University and Eurasia International University, within the framework of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) “Learn and Earn. Artsakh” program. The program is implemented by AGBU (with funding from the HEKS/EPER organization, in collaboration with the “Shen” PAP and the “Syunik-Zargatsum” community NGO).

On July 16 2024, the Ijevan branch of YSU was in a festive mood. A graduation ceremony was organized to welcome the 281 graduates of the 2023-2024 academic year (168 of on-site education and 113 of off-site education) to a big life, which was attended by Yerevan State University Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, YSU Head of the Rector's Staff Davit Hovhannisyan, Rector's Advisor Vigen Khalatyan, Governor of Tavush Region Hayk Ghalumyan, representatives of various fields of the region, members of the administrative and teaching staff of the university, students, graduates, parents, media representatives, external stakeholders, guests.

On September 19, 2024 the international autumn school dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the founding of YSU Ijevan Branch was solemnly opened on the theme "Researching local heritage", which was organized within the framework of cooperation between the University of Salzburg (Austria), the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia and the Ijevan branch of YSU within the framework of “Interdisciplinary studies of Armenian cultural heritage" by the remote laboratory.
