Student Scientific Society
The Student Scientific Society (SSS) of YSU IB was founded in January 2002. The SSS of the branch is an autonomous division of YSU SSS. It is a representative body uniting the students of the branch, which operates in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, the current legislation of the Republic of Armenia, the charter of YSU IB, the charter and work rules of YSU IB SSS.
It contributes to the educational, scientific, creative and spiritual-cultural development of students. Organizes scientific and public lectures, conferences, seminars, discussions, debates, exhibitions, intellectual games-competitions and other types of events. SSS members participate in various seminars, competitions, conferences held in Armenia.
The SSS of YSU IB also publishes the scientific works of students. The company has its structural initial links in the faculties.
The presidents of the SSS of the faculties are members of the faculty council, and the presidents of the branch SSS is a member of the scientific council of YSU IB.
Since its foundation, the student scientific society of YSU IB has been managed by Edita Simonyan (2002), Aspram Kiskinyan (2004), Narek Sahakyan (2005), Artur Edilyan (2007), Shahen Hakhverdyan (2008), Nairi Sahakyan ( November 2009), Slavik Alaverdyan (February 2012), Ara Hovsepyan (September 2013), Albert Zurabyan (March 2015), Hrant Gharagyozyan (October 2017), Medora Asilian (February 2020), Ani Tirabyan (February down in 2022 .) Since 2024, Siranush Abazyan has been the president of SSS.
During its existence, the company has organized about 20 scientific conferences, more than a hundred scientific lectures, about 40 intellectual game championships, dozens of seminars, discussions, movie viewings and other types of events. The society published a collection of reports of the branch student conference dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide (2010), a series of student reports (2011), a collection of intellectual game questions "What, how, why?" (2011), Collection of articles of the republican student conference entitled "Youth problems and trends of state development" (2017), collection of articles of the republican student conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the foundation of YSU Ijevan branch entitled "The Firstborn of Independence" (2020).
