The Ijevan branch of the Yerevan State University Foundation, based on the order of the Director of the YSU Academic Council No. 213 - 1 (26-12-2025), announces a competition for the following vacant positions:

1. Dean of the Faculty of Humanities,

2. Dean of the Faculty of Economics.

Requirements for candidates

A person who meets the following conditions may participate in the competition for the Dean of the Faculty.

1. has the academic title of professor or associate professor,

2. has the academic degree of doctor of sciences or candidate of sciences,

3. has at least 5 years of experience in scientific and pedagogical work,

4. Age does not exceed 65 (in accordance with Part 10 of Article 23 of the RA Law "On Higher Education and Science", the powers of a person elected to an academic leadership position in a public university are terminated upon reaching the age of 65).

Nomination of candidates

Candidates for the position of Dean are nominated by the structural divisions of the faculty or by self-nomination.

List of documents required for nomination

Candidates must submit a package of documents for nomination to the YSU IB Academic Union Secretary. The package must include:

1. decisions of the relevant divisions or the self-nominated application,

2. personal registration sheet,

3. program of the candidate for Dean,

4. autobiography,

5. copies of the certificate of higher education (diploma), diploma of scientific degree, certificate of scientific title,

6. list of published scientific works and inventions,

7. written consent of the nominated candidate (if the nomination was made by the division).
