The Ijevan branch of the Yerevan State University Foundation announces a competition for the following vacant positions:

1. Head of the Department of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture,

2. Head of the Department of General Mathematics and Natural Sciences,

3. Head of the Department of Programming and Information Technologies,

4. Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology.

Requirements for candidates

A person under the age of 65 who has:

1. a scientific degree in a specialty related to the department or related to it,

2. at least five years of academic work experience,

3. at least two scientific works (articles) published in international scientific information databases (ISDB) during the last five years and, in addition, has at least six points of scientific research and educational-methodological activity calculated in accordance with the procedure established by subparagraph 3 of paragraph 9 of the “Procedure for the Selection of the Head of the Department of the Ijevan Branch of Yerevan State University”.

An exception is made for candidates for the positions of heads of departments in the field of art, who must have at least 7 years of scientific and pedagogical work experience, have participated in at least 3 republican or international exhibitions in the last 5 years and have at least one published scientific (scientific and methodological) or educational and methodological work.

Nomination of candidates

Candidates for the position of head of the department are nominated by self-nomination.

List of documents required for nomination

Candidates must submit a package of documents for nomination to the Scientific Secretary of the YSU IB Academic Union. The package must include:

1. application in the name of the director,

2. personal personnel record sheet,

3. program of the candidate for the head of the department,

4. autobiography,

5. copies of the certificate (diploma) of higher education and the diploma of the scientific degree,

6. list of published scientific works and inventions,

7. certificate of qualification improvement (if any),

8. other documents characterizing professional activity.

The deadline for submitting documents is April 10, 2026.

The documents are submitted to the Scientific Secretary of the YSU IB, address: Tavush region of the Republic of Armenia, Ijevan t., Student Street 3.
