Dear Tavush residents, on August 15, 2026, at 1:30 PM, a seminar on "AI Applications and Financial Technologies" will be held at the "American Library and Training Center" of the central building of the YSU Ijevan branch, organized by the NextGen AI community, the YSU Department of Actuarial and Financial Mathematics, the YSU IB Faculty of Natural Sciences, in conjunction with the PFP (Professional Fellows Program) of the US Department of State.

The speakers of the seminar are:

• Dr. Mariofanna Milanova – NVIDIA DLI Official Ambassador, Professor of Computer Science, University of Arkansas Little Rock (US partner),

• Vladimir Karyan – Head of the Operational Risk Management Department of ACBA Bank (PFP ​​partner).

Dr. Mariofanna Milanova has been a professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Little Rock since 2001. She received her MS in Expert Systems and Artificial Intelligence and her PhD in Engineering and Computer Science from the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria. Dr. Milanova conducted postdoctoral research in visual perception at the University of Paderborn, Germany, and has extensive academic experience in various educational and research institutions around the world. Her professional interests include contemporary issues in artificial intelligence, machine learning, signal processing, computer graphics, and neuroinformatics.

Dr. Milanova has published approximately 120 papers, including more than 53 scientific articles and numerous conference papers. She is also the author of 35 books and the author of two patents.
