3rd year students of the "Russian Language and Literature" educational program of Ijevan branch of YSU Anahit Chibukhchyan, Elena Sahakyan and Edita Davtyan, under the scientific supervision of Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages, Svetlana Minasyan, made reports at the XIX International Conference on the topic "Russian Regions in the Focus of Changes" ("Российские регионы в фокусе перемен"), organized by Ural State University on November 14-16.

The international conference included leading Russian economists, foreign experts in the field of economics and finance, heads of medium-sized businesses and large industrial enterprises, representatives of the executive branch, the academic community, young professionals and students.

YSU IB student Anahit Chibukhchyan delivered a report on the topic “The picture of Armenia’s progress in the international arena: communication strategies” at the conference.

Edita Davtyan and Elena Sahakyan presented reports on the topics “Intercultural communication: Practical conflict” and “Mass communication as a subject of state regulation”.

According to the results of the competition summarized after the conference, it became known that Anahit Chibukhchyan was awarded the first, Edita Davtyan the second, and Elena Sahakyan the third degree diploma.

The students who participated in the international conference, in a conversation with us, reflected on their participation, interest in the speeches, and their success. They thanked the organizers of the conference for the opportunity to demonstrate themselves on the international stage, and their academic advisor for her professional support in preparing the reports.
