Within the framework of the Erasmus+ international credit mobility program, Anna Petrikova, Professor of the Department of Slavic Studies of the University of Presov, was at the Ijevan branch of YSU from April 17 to 19.
The visit had two main goals: first, to improve pedagogical skills through the exchange of experience, to study modern technologies and different styles of teaching the Russian language at the branch, second, to convey the agreement signed between the University of Presov and the Ijevan branch of YSU, to discuss and deepen partnership relations to ensure the exchange of students and researchers.
First, the foreign guest, accompanied by Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages of YSU IB, Svetlana Minasyan, met with the Acting Director Anushavan Makaryan. During the meeting, the agenda and cooperation issues of the visit were discussed. The terms of the agreement and the details of the jointly presented “Erasmus+” project were considered.
Then, with the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Karine Poghosyan, the possibilities of implementing joint educational programs and exchanging students and lecturers were discussed, and with the Scientific Secretary, Mher Atoyan, the possible scientific directions of cooperation were considered.
Next, Professor Anna Petrikova conducted the “University of Presov. education, traditions, interesting facts" lesson-discussion.
During the lecture, training programs were discussed, students actively participated in the discussion both in pedagogical and linguistic (in particular, Slovak) directions.
At the end of the visit to the Ijevan branch of YSU, a visit-excursion was organized for the foreign guest to the historical and cultural monuments of Tavush region, in particular, Goshavank and Haghartsin monastic complexes.
