The purpose of the visit was to introduce YSU Ijevan Branch students to universities in the Kingdom of Sweden, the principles of higher education there, and opportunities for continuing their studies in Sweden.

First, the delegation members met with Mher Otaryan, Director of YSU Ijevan Branch; during the meeting, issues regarding cooperation in the fields of education and science were discussed. The Director expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Eva Sundqvist—who was visiting the YSU Ijevan Branch for the first time—and her delegation, and provided an overview of the branch's history, its organizational units, and its educational programs. At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Otaryan presented the delegation with artworks created by the "YSU Art Studio" on behalf of the branch.

Subsequently, the delegation, led by the Ambassador, met with students from the "English and Literature" educational program at Ijevan Branch of YSU.

During the meeting, the Ambassador spoke about the history, culture, customs, and educational system of the Swedish people.

The students received answers to their questions regarding higher education institutions in Sweden and the country's education system.
