On July 19, 2024 the "We and Our Mountains" festival was launched in Ijevan's fountain square, within the framework of which a number of events were planned: an exhibition-sale, a demonstration performance by Pahlevan, a concert program, yard games, a movie screening, and an exhibition of works of art. All settlements of the enlarged Ijevan community, as well as the existing organizations, were represented at the festival with their booths. Many guests, officials and tourists were present at the festival.
Ijevan branch of YSU participated in the festival with a separate booth, which was presented to the guests by the acting dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts V. Aghababyan, representatives of the "Zartonk Ijevan" grant project team V. Poghosyan and N. Grigoryan.
At the YSU IB booth, multi-genre (tapestry, painting, embroidery, embroidery, etc.) works of graduates of the Faculty of Applied Arts of different years, detailed and three-dimensional modeled images of the center of Ijevan and the industrial district prepared within the framework of the "Zartonk Ijevan" grant program were displayed, which greatly impressed the visitors of the festival.
Within the framework of the "Zartonk Ijevan" grant program, in addition to the research work, three-dimensional modeling of the city and its individual parts was carried out, where the experience of the city center and squares design, architectural problems and solutions were detailed. We should add that the grant program is implemented within the framework of the EU4Culture program "We and our mountains" financed by the European Union.
