On March 1 2025, at the Faculty of Humanities of Ijevan Branch of Yerevan State University, under the leadership of the “Psychology” educational program coordinator, PhD, Associate Professor Sona Poghosyan, a scientific seminar on the topic “Key Issues of Modern Psychology” was held, during which reports were made by 4th-year students of the “Psychology” specialty.

The Acting Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, PhD, Associate Professor Natella Grigoryan, the teaching staff of the Chair of Pedagogy and Psychology, and students studying in the on-site and off-site learning systems of the “Psychology” specialty were present.

The aim of the scientific seminar was to present the psychological research and analysis conducted by students on the given topic.

It started with the opening speech of the scientific supervisor of the work, PhD, Associate Professor S. Poghosyan, after which the students presented their research.

During the seminar, the participants were given the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers. The participating students presented their opinions and noted the importance of such seminars.

After the speeches, PhD, Professor Ruben Aghuzumtsyan, PhD, Professor Harutyun Babayan, and lecturer of the department Victoria Meliksetyan touched upon the presentation of the research, emphasized the high level of students' skills in conducting and presenting scientific research, and made their professional observations.

During the discussions, the importance of choosing research topics and their practical applicability was emphasized, which will enable students to turn their knowledge into effective practical experience.
