The next training of teachers subject to certification started at Ijevan branch of YSU on June 3, 2025 and will last until July 16, with the participation of more than 120 teachers from Tavush and Gegharkunik regions.
The trainings, which are carried out by leading and professional specialists from Ijevan branch of YSU, the republic and the region, aim to develop teachers' teaching skills with innovative methods and student-centered approaches.
The next training of teachers subject to certification at YSU IB was planned to be held over 3 years in all 12 departments of the elementary and secondary (adulthood) levels.
Last year, trainings were conducted on the modules “Course and Lesson Planning”, “Identifying Learner Needs”, “Professional Ethics, Democratic and Civic Competence”.
Until July 16, according to the approved curriculum, trainings will be conducted on the following modules:
1. “Teaching Methods, Strategies and Inclusive Connections”,
2. “Application of Information and Communication Technologies in the Educational Process”,
3. “Promoting 21st Century Skills”.
