Starting September 28, 2026, Ijevan Branch of YSU launched training sessions for members of the staff of the Governor of Tavush Province within the framework of modular supplementary education programs, covering "English," "Personnel Management," and "Leadership." Approximately 45 employees from 14 departments of the Tavush Governor's staff are participating in the training.

The classes are conducted by leading YSU specialists in both in-person and online formats, utilizing both group and individual approaches.

The "Leadership" course is conducted by Anna Mkrtchyan, Assistant at the Department of Management and Business, YSU Faculty of Economics and Management.

The "English" course is conducted by Arina Paronyan, Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages, YSU Ijevan Branch. The "Personnel Management" course is conducted by Anna Maksudyan, Head of the YSU "Human Resource Management" Master's program, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sociology’s Department of Sociological Theory and History, and Candidate of Economic Sciences.

The training programs aim to develop employees' skills in leadership, effective communication and management, and conflict resolution.

Upon completion of the "Leadership" program, participants will be able to adhere to the ethical and social norms characteristic of leadership behavior, guide group work toward targeted objectives, apply effective business management approaches, and identify ways to improve corporate governance. Upon completion of the "English" program, participants will be able to use new vocabulary, construct clear and logically sound oral statements, and apply their knowledge in practice within the context of intercultural communication.

Upon completion of the "Personnel Management" program, participants will master the fundamental forms of workforce planning, understand key modern methods for personnel assessment and motivation, and be able to develop key performance indicators and implement workforce planning in practice.
