On October 17, 2026, the Psychological and Educational Counseling Center of YSU Ijevan Branch organized a practical seminar titled "Psychological Support: The Scope of a Psychologist's Practice and Their Professional Role." The seminar was conducted by Sona Poghosyan, Candidate of Psychological Sciences and Associate Professor.
During the seminar, the key forms and specific features of psychological support were presented, alongside discussions on the professional role and responsibilities of a psychologist, as well as the importance of adhering to professional competencies and ethical boundaries.
Through practical discussions, students had the opportunity to analyze various scenarios, familiarize themselves with the professional principles of providing psychological support, and refine their understanding of the scope of a psychologist's work.
The meeting took place in a format of active discussions and a Q&A session, contributing to enhancing the students' professional awareness.
