On July 19, 2024 the "We and Our Mountains" festival was launched in Ijevan's fountain square, within the framework of which a number of events were planned: an exhibition-sale, a demonstration performance by Pahlevan, a concert program, yard games, a movie screening, and an exhibition of works of art. All settlements of the enlarged Ijevan community, as well as the existing organizations, were represented at the festival with their booths. Many guests, officials and tourists were present at the festival.

On July 16 2024, the Ijevan branch of YSU was in a festive mood. A graduation ceremony was organized to welcome the 281 graduates of the 2023-2024 academic year (168 of on-site education and 113 of off-site education) to a big life, which was attended by Yerevan State University Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, YSU Head of the Rector's Staff Davit Hovhannisyan, Rector's Advisor Vigen Khalatyan, Governor of Tavush Region Hayk Ghalumyan, representatives of various fields of the region, members of the administrative and teaching staff of the university, students, graduates, parents, media representatives, external stakeholders, guests.

On May 24-25 of this year, YSU Ijevan branch held a conference entitled "Problems of Tourism and Recreation in Armenia" in real-time and online format, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of YSU IM Foundation.

This year, YSU IU Educational Methodology Department and Professional Education and Quality Assurance Department collected and analyzed the opinions-reports of the summative certification commissions regarding the graduates of YSU IU 2023-2024 training, which are very important for the university.their results are used to further improve the organization and implementation of the qualification awarding process.
