During the meetings, the branch's lecturers, with the participation of principals and teachers, gave lectures to pupils of the 9th-12th grades in "Mathematics", "Physics" and "English". A number of topics that are actual, relevant to the program and arouse interest and motivation for schoolchildren have been selected for the lectures, with the aim of supplementing or expanding their existing knowledge.
The lecturers' visits to schools were inspiring for pupils and teachers, as they helped schoolchildren generalize previously acquired knowledge, master new ones, understand the theoretical and practical significance of some problems, and gave teachers the opportunity to enter into a dialogue with university colleagues.
YSU IB employees also introduced the branch's new website and activities to the 9th-11th graders, discussed and provided information on specialties, educational programs and their peculiarities, exchanged ideas, and answered questions that interested the schoolchildren.
In order to strengthen School-University cooperation, students were invited to visit the branch.
