- Master’s degree students of Russian Language at Ijevan Branch of YSU
Within the framework of the one-month internship, young teachers Angelina Sokolova (Moscow City Pedagogical University) and Natalia Maksimova (Pitirim Sorokin Syktyvkar State University) not only teach at the Ijevan branch of YSU, but also hold cultural and educational events with students in regional schools.
The internship program includes conducting Russian language and literature classes, master classes on teaching methods, as well as organizing literary evenings dedicated to Russian culture and language traditions. A. Sokolova and N. Maksimova brought with them unique educational materials that will help diversify the educational process and make it more interactive. Particular attention will be paid to the development of oral and intercultural communication skills of schoolchildren and students. In addition, it is planned to organize a series of creative competitions (essay competition, theatrical performances and quizzes on Russian literature). These events will not only enrich students' knowledge, but also contribute to strengthening interest in learning the Russian language as one of the most important tools of international communication.
Within the framework of the internship, meetings with local educators are also planned, during which modern approaches to teaching the Russian language will be discussed. Cooperation in the round table format will allow for an exchange of experience and the introduction of the best teaching practices in the schools of the region.
According to the Acting Director of the YSU Ijevan Branch A. Makaryan, the visit of the competition winners is a significant event for the university and the local community. “This internship is a great opportunity for our students and schoolchildren to get acquainted with the rich Russian culture, for teachers to find new ways of exchanging experience and cooperation.”
The internship visit will be concluded with a final event, a festival of Russian language and culture, where the joint creative projects of Angelina Sokolova and Natalia Maximova will be presented.
The internship of the Russian language master’s students has become an important event for the educational environment of Ijevan. It not only helps to strengthen the friendship between the peoples of Russia and Armenia, but also opens up new horizons for students, inspiring them to study the Russian language and culture in depth.
