On March 11, 2025 at the initiative of the YSU IB Department of Organization of Internship and Cooperation with Stakeholders, the branch hosted 10th and 11th graders of Azatamut Secondary School, accompanied by professional orientation specialists L. Babayan and L. Shahinyan.

A tour was organized for the students. Acting Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts V. Aghababyan, Assistant Professor of the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design A. Chibukhchyan presented the students with the works of the students in the fields of sculpture, ceramics, carpet weaving, carpet weaving, and glass painting in the workshops. Lecturer of the Department of General Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the Faculty of Natural Sciences G. Gulakyan introduced the students to the research works and technological developments of the students in the Agro-Technological Laboratory.

Then, the Department of Organization of Practice and Cooperation with Stakeholders, together with the Student Scientific Society, implemented the intellectual game “Amenakhelatsi”(The smartest) for 12 students of Azatamut Secondary School.

The game was hosted by Anna Sargsyan, the specialist of the Department of Organization of Internship and Cooperation with Stakeholders, Siranush Abazyan, the president of the Student Scientific Society, and 3 members of the SSS.

In the first round of the intellectual game, the students were given 12 questions to test their general knowledge. The 6 students who scored the highest points were given the opportunity to continue the game in the second round.

In the second round, the participants, choosing 2 topics out of 12, answered the questions on their chosen topic within 1 minute. Gor Martirosyan, Inga Alaverdyan, and Seda Kokobelyan advanced to the next round.

In the third round, the participants had to answer questions on the topic they had previously chosen. Inga Alaverdyan scored the highest points and was recognized as the winner of the intellectual game. She was awarded a certificate of honor and a book donated by the branch (Raffi’s novel “Khachagoghi hishatakaran”/ “Diary of a cross-stealer”). Gor Martirosyan and Seda Kokobelyan took 2nd and 3rd places, being awarded with certificates of honor.

The students were greatly impressed by the visit to the Ijevan branch of YSU and the intellectual game, they also expressed a wish that such initiatives would be continuous.
