- YSU IB students presented reports at the international scientific-practical conference
YSU IB participated in the international conference as a co-organizer and a member of the program committee. At the conference, students of the “Russian Language and Literature” educational program of YSU IB under the scientific supervision of Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages, Professor Svetlana Minasyan presented their scientific research works in the form of articles and presentations, which were accepted for publication in the Russian scientific indexing database “Российский индекс научного цитирования (РИНЦ)”.
First-year student Mane Hovhannisyan presented a research paper on “Pedagogical Fundamentals of Intercultural Communication”, which received special attention for its in-depth approach.
Second-year student Aspram Hovhannisyan presented a report on “Students’ Emotional Intelligence: Prospects for Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language”, which sparked a lively discussion.
Third-year students Edita Davtyan and Elena Sahakyan presented reports on “Methodology of Teaching Intercultural Communication in Middle Grades of Armenian Schools” and “Pedagogical Ethics and Artificial Intelligence”, which stood out for their novelty and practical significance.
Summing up the results of the international conference, YSU IB students were awarded with diplomas. In a conversation with us, the students who participated in the conference expressed their deep gratitude to the organizers for the opportunity to demonstrate themselves on an international platform and gain experience, and to their scientific supervisor S. Minasyan for her professional support.
Participation in such events contributes to the development of students' skills in conducting scientific research and the deepening and strengthening the university's international ties.
