At the official invitation of New Bulgarian University in Sofia, Professor of the Chair of Foreign Languages of the YSU IB Svetlana Mikhailovna Minasyan got acquainted with the university’s educational programs, the lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages, presented a report on Ijevan branch of YSU, touching upon the educational, scientific, and international activities of the university. On June 12, a seminar-discussion on the topic “Development of educational programs for the humanities faculties in the master’s program” was held, which was led by Professor of the Chair of Foreign Languages of the YSU IB Svetlana Minasyan.

She proposed a model that can be effective for students. It was emphasized that the master’s program model is a continuation of studies in the field of higher education with a deeper level of student preparation, more stringent requirements for the quality of preparation and for this, it is necessary to solve three important problems: the first is preparatory, which is manifested in the choice of a more specific specialization and the deepening of theoretical knowledge, skills and abilities.

The second problem is scientific research work, which is manifested in the educational process of students, where they actively develop research qualities and abilities, publish their works.

The third problem is career: for those with a master's degree, it is easier to build a professional career and quickly rise to the appropriate level, prepare for postgraduate studies. Based on the discussion, the idea of developing a project for submission to the Erasmus+ program for 2026-2027 was put forward.

The effectiveness of the trip to Bulgaria is evidenced by the final work - the signing of an agreement with Bishop Konstantin of Preslav Schuman between the Faculty of Humanities and the Armenian Diaspora Charitable Organization in Varna.
