On July 2, 2025, the graduation ceremony of the graduates of the 2024-2025 academic year of the YSU IB was held, which was attended by Yerevan State University Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, YSU Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Rafael Barkhudaryan, Vice-Rector for Development and Innovation Mikael Hovhannisyan, Vice-Rector for General Affairs Arman Malkhasyan, Head of the Rector's Staff Davit Hovhannisyan, Rector's Advisor Vigen Khalatyan, representatives of the Tavush Regional Governor's Staff, members of the YSU IB administrative and teaching staff, students, graduates, parents, representatives of various sectors of the region and the media, external stakeholders, and guests.

This year, Ijevan branch of YSU sent 249 graduates to a great life: 240 bachelor's (154 with on-site study, 86 with off-time study) and 9 master's (off-site study), a festive event was organized - a solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas and a graduation party.

The solemn event started with the anthem of the Republic of Armenia and the anthem of Yerevan State University.

YSU IB 2025 graduates were congratulated and wished a good journey by YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, YSU IB Director Mher Otaryan, Tavush Regional Deputy Governor Narek Ghushchyan, Student Council member Diana Melkonyan, the branch's 2025 graduate with excellent score, winner of the 2024 "Best Student" republican competition Sahak Gulakyan.

In his congratulatory speech, YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan specifically mentioned: “I think that today the greatest pride that they experience is precisely the parents, because their efforts are bearing fruit today, for many years. The second is the teaching staff, which sees the results of its work today, when students, graduates will already enter the path of life, become professionals, specialists, contribute to the development of the country, the region, and why not also help improve life, make it better in the context of larger, global changes. ….I want to express my deep gratitude to Mr. Makaryan, who has established quite good traditions in Ijevan branch and continues to help the branch today, and also to Yerevan State University, as an advisor to the rector. Mr. Otaryan, who continues those beautiful traditions as a director, and we see that Ijevan branch is becoming more prosperous and flourishing day by day. …. Dear graduates, the knowledge that you have received here, at Ijevan branch of YSU, is only the prelude, this is only the methodology, most of it depends on you - how you will implement it, how much you will develop your knowledge throughout your life, how much effort you will put in, because learning does not stop throughout your life. ….I would like to thank once again, first of all, the governor of Tavush, the entire staff of the regional administration for hosting us, the entire staff of the Ijevan branch and you, dear graduates, for successfully completing the branch and entering the path of life. I thank you all and wish you good luck."

In his speech, YSU IB Director Mher Otaryan emphasized that Ijevan branch of YSU has given graduates knowledge, abilities, skills and values, which will certainly be used for the benefit of society. He noted that the years of study were a difficult and interesting probationary period for the graduates, which they overcame with honor. The director expressed confidence that they will also overcome certain difficulties and failures expected in the professional field with honor and will be able to contribute to the development and progress of the country and society. Mr. Otaryan expressed deep gratitude to YSU Rector and the entire staff for the indispensable support provided to the branch, to the Tavush Regional Administration (headed by Mr. Ghalumyan) and all the community heads for being by the side of the university, and congratulated YSU IB teaching staff for their dedication and work, and wished the graduates a lot of success and good luck.

The Ijevan Music School Ensemble performed beautifully at the event.

Then the solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to graduates took place. The YSU Rector, the YSU IB Director and the Deputy Governor of Tavush presented diplomas of excellence to the graduates with high achievements, then the deans of the faculties, according to their specialties, awarded diplomas to on-site and off-site learning graduates. This year, 47 graduates of the YSU Ijevan branch graduated with a diploma of excellence: 44 bachelor's and 3 master's degree graduates.

In the beautiful nature of Tavush, Yenokavan's "Yell Extreme Park", the second part of the event continued - the graduation party of graduates, with photo shoots, music and hospitality.
