On September 29, 2025, a significant collaborative event was held at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the NAS RA, to which representatives of the scientific, educational and academic community were invited, including Vladimir Poghosyan, Head of the YSU IB Library.
It was organized by the Institute of Oriental Studies not only to donate scientific literature, but also to form future partnerships and disseminate science.
The Institute donated about 100 unites of scientific literature to the Ijevan branch of YSU, Shirak State University, Vanadzor State University, Gavar State University and the "Kachar" Scientific and Educational Center.
In her speech, the Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies Gohar Iskandaryan emphasized that this event is part of the large-scale strategy adopted by the Institute, aimed at deepening academic cooperation and ensuring access to knowledge throughout Armenia. It was noted that all literature published by the Institute of Oriental Studies has been digitized and posted on the official website of the institute.
Vladimir Poghosyan, Head of the YSU IB Library, delivered a speech of gratitude, noting that such events greatly contribute to the dissemination of scientific knowledge and the replenishment of scientific libraries of regional universities. V. Poghosyan added that the YSU Ijevan branch is ready to continue and expand cooperation with the institute within the framework of scientific programs and other educational and scientific events.
