From October 1, 2025, the training of a new group of teachers subject to regular certification starts at YSU IB and will continue until November 1, with the participation of more than 85 teachers from Tavush and Gegharkunik regions.
The trainings are conducted by leading and professional specialists from Ijevan branch of YSU, the republic and the region, and they aim to develop teachers' teaching skills with innovative methods and student-centered approaches.
The trainings of teachers subject to regular certification are planned to be held at the branch within 3 years in all 12 departments of the primary and secondary (maternity) levels.
Currently, trainings are being conducted in 2 modules: "Professional Ethics, Democratic and Civic Competence" and "Promoting 21st Century Skills".
The branch is also in the process of training teachers who have not passed the voluntary certification in the subject "Armenian Language", in which 7 teachers from 6 schools in Tavush region are participating.
