Levon Lachikyan, Associate Professor of the Chair of Tourism Management and Culturology of the Ijevan Branch of YSU, recently released 3 calendars with the conviction that, despite the technical capabilities of our phones at the rapid pace of digitalization of our lives, interest in paper calendars still remains.

“It’s already the 4th year that I have been publishing a trilingual table calendar dedicated to Gyumri, very important to us,” said Levon Lachikyan.

Another beautiful calendar was printed in the European city of Cologne, at the initiative and publication of the Armenian Diocese of Germany and is aimed to keep the memories of Lachikyan’s paintings about different cities of Armenia (Yerevan and Gyumri, Vanadzor and Dilijan, Goris and Kapan, Sisian and Meghri) alive among our compatriots abroad.

The Armenian American "Armenian Family Calendar" presents the pictorial panorama of evangelical churches and structures in Armenia and abroad (Beirut, Constantinople, Gyumri, Vanadzor, Ijevan, etc.), as well as the "Holiday Calendar 2026" and the biography of the author.

The mentioned publishing trilogy best testifies to the contribution made by our lecturer to the modern Armenian calendar culture and the new level marked by it.
