On March 6, 2026, a board of directors meeting was held at the YSU Ijevan branch, chaired by M. Otaryan.

The meeting discussed issues related to the tuition fees for the 2026-2027 academic year at YSU IB, the organization of distance learning bachelor's and master's courses in the 2nd semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, independent work carried out in the 1st semester of the 2025-26 academic year, the analysis of the opinions of the chairmen of the final attestation committees for the 2024-2025 academic year, and the analysis of the results of the survey on the satisfaction of distance learning graduates with the education they received at YSU IB (2024-25 academic year).

Reports were presented on the summary of the on-site examination period of the first semester of the 2025-26 academic year, the progress of internships carried out in the 1st semester of the same academic year and those to be carried out in the 2nd semester, the progress of the final works for the 2025-26 academic year, and the candidates for the chairmen of the final attestation committees for the 2026 bachelor's educational program.

The question of the amount of tuition fees for the 2026-2027 academic year at YSU IB was addressed by the branch director M. Otaryan. In particular, it was noted that the expenses incurred for the educational programs of YSU IB mainly exceed the amount of tuition fees, but when making changes to them, it is necessary to take into account the social situation of the population of Tavush and other circumstances typical of the border region. Accordingly, it was decided to propose to the YSU IB Academic Council to make minor changes to the amount of tuition fees for the 2026-2027 academic year at YSU Ijevan branch.

The deans of the faculties and A. Davtyan reported on the process of organizing the 2nd  semester of distance learning bachelor's and master's courses for the 2025-26 academic year. In particular, it was noted that in 2026 the off-site learning educational process of this semester will start on March 10, for which the necessary preparatory work has been carried out, related to the schedule, textbooks, distribution of classroom funds by courses and groups, etc. Based on all this, the YSU Ijevan branch is ready to start the off-site learning bachelor's and master's classes of the 2nd semester of the 2025-26 academic year.
