The event opened with introductory remarks and a keynote address by Abhijit Banerjee, Nobel laureate in Economics and J-PAL co-founder and director, on the topic "The Importance of Evidence-Based Policies."

Discussions and panel sessions were held focusing on the significance of evidence-based policymaking, the application of rigorous research methods by governments, impact assessment in the policy development process, J-PAL’s capacity-building approaches, and the future of evidence-based policymaking in Armenia. Representatives from the Central Bank of Armenia, J-PAL Europe, the Government of Armenia, and international and local research institutions participated in the event.

For students, the event offered a valuable opportunity to familiarize themselves with modern research methods, the process of evidence-based policymaking, and the expertise of leading professionals in the field.
