On April 30th, 2019, YSU Ijevan Branch hosted Volleyball Regional Championship, organized by the Department of Emergency Situations, Sports and Athletics.
6 boys and 2 girls’ teams took a part in the championship.
YSUIB girls’ team competed with girls’ team of Khashtarak school. The team of girls from Khashtarak school became the winner and awarded with a diploma by YSUIB Directorate.
The boys’ team demonstrated more persistent competition. The intensive struggle of YSUIB staff, Sarigyugh, Gandzakar, Tsaghkavan, Tavush Ministry of Emergency Situations, YSUIB students’ teams was held in an Olympic style. The losing team was out of the fight.
The Semi-finalists were YSUIB Students, Saryagyugh and Tavush Ministry of Emergency Situations teams. Sarigyugh team became the winner.
The teams of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Tavush and YSUIB students took the second and third place respectively.
The winners were awarded with medals and diplomas.
