- The Center for Russian Language Additional Education opened at Ijevan branch of YSU
The opening of the center was attended by Victoria Deripasko, Deputy Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Armenia, and Chief Specialist Aygul Shamsutdinova, Acting Director of YSU IB A. Makaryan, members of the administrative and teaching staff, winners of the “Masters of the Russian Language” competition undergoing internship at the branch Angelina Sokolova and Natalya Maksimova, representatives of the “For the Russian Language” volunteer movement Pavel Moskvin and Zhenisbai Kudaibergenov, students of various courses of the “Russian Language and Literature” educational program.
The Center for Russian Language Additional Education at YSU IB opened on the basis of a subdivision established in July 2018 at branch and reorganized as the Ijevan branch of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Gyumri in November 2020, having been re-equipped and supplemented with modern material and technical resources and professional literature.
The opening speech was delivered by Victoria Deripasko, Deputy Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representation, and A. Makaryan, Acting Director of the YSU IB, congratulating the university students on the reopening of the center, emphasizing that it will be aimed at the development and deepening of Armenian-Russian cooperation in the fields of education, science, and culture.
Then, the students of the “Russian Language and Literature” educational program expressed their gratitude for creating a favorable environment for learning.
The speakers expressed their conviction that the center will become a place of inspiration and new discoveries for students, will contribute to the in-depth study of the Russian language, its beauty and diversity. There, students will not only learn the grammar of the Russian language, but also communicate with invaluable cultural traditions that help build bridges between peoples and countries.
