- Students of the "Tourism" specialty visited Kotayk region and Yerevan, as part of their internship
The internship was carried out along the following route: Ijevan-Abovyan St. Hovhannes Church-Geghardavank-Garni Temple-Stone symphonies of the Azat River Valley-Museum of the History of Armenia-National Gallery-Halls of the Cascade Complex-Ijevan.
The students had previously collected information about the main tourist resources and infrastructures of Kotayk region and Yerevan, and during the visit they professionally studied these objects, presented them and assessed their inclusion in tourist packages.
The students were greatly impressed by the visit to the History Museum of Armenia, where, in addition to the main exhibits, the preserved bronze head and hand from the statue of the goddess Anahit brought from the British Museum were also displayed.
During the trip, the students presented the natural geographical objects, tourist resources and infrastructures located along the route.
Educational internship contributes to the practical demonstration and consolidation of students' theoretical knowledge. It provides students with the opportunity to collect and evaluate professional information related to the objects of practice, to perform group, individual and organizational work, to expand and develop their professional worldview, abilities and skills.
