The goal of the championship was to promote a healthy lifestyle among students, increase their level of physical training, and popularize sports at Ijevan branch of YSU.

The badminton championship was held in the Olympic format, according to which the loser is eliminated from further competition.
The 1st place was taken by Milena Sargsyan, a first-year student of the "Decorative and Applied Arts" educational program.

The 2nd and 3rd places were taken by Araksya Tananyan, a first-year student of the "Elementary Pedagogy and Methodology" educational program, and Tamara Abazyan, a second-year student of the "Design" educational program, respectively.

The winners were awarded with medals, certificates and souvenirs by YSU IB directorate.
