The goal of the championship was to popularize sports in the region, improve the sportsmanship of the participants, and bring out the best.

The opening and welcoming speeches were made by the Director of the YSU IB Mher Otaryan, and the Assistant Professor of the Department of Emergency Situations, Physical Education and Sports Varditer Poghosyan, welcoming everyone, emphasizing the goal and importance of holding the open championship, wishing the participants and attendees success and a spectacular game.

The games were held in a group format, according to which the loser is eliminated from further competition.

The volleyball players from Sarigyugh and Ptghavan especially stood out for their skills.

The 1st team of Sariguyugh and Ptghavan team fought for the first place. The Ptghavan team won with a score of 2:1.

The team of Noyemberyan "Olympic" and 2nd team of Sariguyugh competed for the third place. The team of Noyemberyan "Olympic" won with a score of 2:0.

Thus, the first place was taken by the Ptghavan team, the second place by Sariguyugh 1st team, and the third place by Noyemberyan "Olympic" team.

The winning teams were awarded with medals, cups, and certificates by YSU IB directorate.
