On September 18, 2025, within the framework of a working visit to Tavush region, the Deputy Governor of Krasnoyarsk Territory Valery Vladimirovich Semyonov, the Vice-Rector for Advanced Projects of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education "Siberian Federal University" Sergey Vladimirovich Verkhovets, and other members of the delegation led by V. V. Semyonov visited Ijevan branch of YSU.

After the meeting held at the Tavush regional administration, the honored guests, accompanied by the governor of Tavush, Hayk Ghalumyan, and other representatives of the regional and city authorities, visited Ijevan branch of YSU.

Their meeting with the students took place at Russian Language Additional Education Center at YSU IB, which was attended by the director of YSU IB M. Otaryan, advisor to the director A. Makaryan, head of the Educational and Methodological Department A. Davtyan, acting dean of the Faculty of Humanities N. Grigoryan, lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages, and students of the “Russian Language and Literature” educational program.

The guests were presented with a general overview of the activities and achievements of  YSU IB, its great educational and scientific-cultural role and significance in the region.

The students touched upon the successfully implemented "Russian Language and Literature" educational program at YSU IB, which is also evidenced by their successes, victories in scientific and other events.

They also spoke about the activities of the Russian Language Additional Education Center at YSU IB, the jubilee and commemorative events related to Russian literature and culture, scientific readings and other initiatives that are periodically held there.

At the end of the meeting, the guests presented books and souvenirs to Ijevan branch of YSU, and Mr. Otaryan, on behalf of the university, presented them with two works (glass paintings) by Anahit Melkonyan and Monika Ordinyan, 3rd-year students of the “Design” educational program of the Faculty of Applied Arts.

The meeting with the Russian high-ranking guests at Ijevan branch of YSU ended with good impressions, with the expectation of developing cooperation in the fields of education and science.
