On September 26, 2025 a board meeting was held under the chairmanship of M. M. Otaryan at Ijevan branch of YSU.

The session discussed issues related to the process of resubmitting academic debts accumulated up to 12 credits and the process of organizing subject repetitions, the provision of nominal scholarships for the 1st semester of the 2025-26 academic year, the summary of the examination periods for the 2nd semester of the 2024-25 academic year for the bachelor's degree and the 2nd semester of the bachelor's and master's degree distance learning, the results of tuition fee reimbursement, rotation, and problems arising in the "E-learning" and "Registrar" systems. 

N. Arushanyan, Head of the Department of Organization and Control of the Educational Process, reported on the first issue: the process of resubmitting academic debts accumulated up to 12 credits and the process of organizing subject repetitions. In particular, it was noted that 33 students (4 on-site students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, 24 off-site students of the Faculty of Economics, 5 off-site students of the Faculty of Humanities) applied to retake their accumulated academic debts of up to 12 credits in the 2nd semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, 32 of whom successfully retaken their academic debts, and 1 student did not retake them.

In the 2nd semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, 29 students applied to repeat the course (8 on-site students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, 1 on-site student of the Faculty of Applied Arts, 1 on-site student of the Faculty of Economics and 13 off-site students, 1 on-site student of the Faculty of Humanities and 5 off-site students). Out of 29 students, 26 successfully repeated the course and passed the certification, while 3 students did not pass the certification.

Next, the Head of the Educational and Methodological Department A. Davtyan presented the list of candidates proposed by the faculties for nominal scholarships for the 1st semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, which was approved by the members of the board, and it was decided to submit it for approval by the Academic Council of YSU IB Academic Union.

The students with the highest academic performance were selected from the general list of candidates submitted by the faculties for the competitive nominal scholarships at YSU IB.

N. Arushanyan also reported on the third issue: the summary of the 2nd semester examination periods of the 2024-2025 academic year bachelor's and master's degree distance learning.

It was reported that 464 on-site students and 371 off-site students (346 bachelor's degree and 25 master's degree) participated in the 2nd semester examination period of the 2024-25 academic year.

According to the results of the examination period, 19 students are being expelled from Ijevan branch of YSU, 1 of them is from the on-site education system (Faculty of Humanities), 18 from the off-site education system (9 from the Faculty of Economics, 9 from the Faculty of Humanities), 22 students (4 on-site, 18 off-site learning) have accumulated academic debts of up to 12 credits, 33 students (4 on-site and 29 off-site learning) will repeat the course.

The results of tuition fee reimbursement and rotation were presented by A. Makaryan, Advisor to the Director of the YSU IB.

In particular, it was noted that in the 2025-2026 academic year, 129 students received the right to full tuition fee reimbursement, 74 of whom achieved excellent results. 25 students entered the paid education system (Faculty of Humanities: 13 students, Faculty of Economics: 6 students, Faculty of Natural Sciences: 2 students, Faculty of Applied Arts: 4 students).

In the 2025-26 academic year, 13 students benefit from 100% tuition fee reimbursement at the expense of the branch funds (Faculty of Humanities: 5 students, Faculty of Economics: 4 students, Faculty of Natural Sciences: 1 student, Faculty of Applied Arts: 3 students).

The other issue, the problems that arose in the “E-learning” and “Registrar” systems, was reported by the Head of the Educational and Methodological Department A. Davtyan and the Head of the Information Systems Service and Development Department T. Khachatryan. The speakers presented the technical and software problems that arose in these systems during their work and the solutions they have already provided or proposed.
