On October 18, 2025, representatives of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) and Rossotrudnichestvo in Armenia visited the Ijevan branch of YSU, led by Anton Beryanev, head of the Gyumri branch of the Russian Center for Science and Culture.

First, they met with the Director of the YSU IB M. Otaryan, during which the purpose and objectives of the visit, issues related to Armenian-Russian cooperation in the educational, scientific, and cultural spheres were discussed.

Then, lecturers of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia held a lecture-discussion at the Russian Language and Culture Center of the YSU IB, which was attended by students of the "Russian Language and Literature" educational program, lecturers and teachers teaching Russian at the university and regional schools.

The participants of the meeting were first introduced to the activities of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, accompanied by a presentation.

Then, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Russian Federation Yulia Biryukova gave a lecture on the topic "Digital Assistants of a Modern Russian Language Teacher", which was interactive, took place in a warm atmosphere and was accompanied by active discussions.

The role of a modern teacher, new opportunities in digital pedagogy were discussed, and teaching experience was exchanged.

Yulia Biryukova presented modern methodological approaches aimed at developing students' vocabulary and grammatical skills. The participants learned how to create interactive assignments and teaching tools, involve digital websites in traditional lessons, and interest students through gaming technologies.

The speaker also touched upon artificial intelligence in the work of a teacher, giving teachers practical advice on how to use artificial intelligence tools for preparing materials, checking written work, and planning lessons.
