- The series of workshops "Embracing the United States -Culture in Practice" was held at YSU IB
They were conducted by G. Tigranyan, USG alumna, who presented American culture based on real-life examples.
Young people aged 18-25 participating in the workshops got acquainted with family and social traditions, national holidays, the influence of media and youth subcultures, as well as everyday etiquette and values of American society.
The series of workshops included:

Intercultural Dilemmas
Media, Stereotypes
Pop Culture, Youth
Family Traditions
Communication, leadership, teamwork, cross-cultural competence, and career tools
Info on U.S. educational and exchange programs
Confidence in American English speaking and communication
Networking with U.S.G. alumni and peers
Practical career skills
