On March 28, YSU IB Director Mher Otaryan solemnly awarded Anna Tamamyan, a 4th-year student of the "Tourism" educational program of the Faculty of Economics, and Smbat Tsutsulyan, the supervisor, assistant professor of the Department of Tourism Management and Culturology, candidate of economic sciences, with certificates of participation (delivering a scientific report) in the international scientific-practical online conference held on February 25, 2026, at the initiative of Gzhel State University of the Russian Federation.
The conference was attended by lecturers from the Department of Tourism Management and Culturology of YSU IB, the Department of Socio-Cultural and Tourism of the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Education of Gzhel State University of the Russian Federation, the Department of Tourism and Marketing of Karshi State University of Uzbekistan, the Department of Tourism and Sports Management of the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism, students of the “Tourism” educational program of the mentioned universities, as well as representatives of a number of organizations in the tourism sector of the Russian Federation.
Mher Otaryan, Director of the Ijevan Branch of YSU, and Professor Gurgen Hovhannisyan, Acting Head of the Department of Tourism Management and Culturology, were awarded certificates of appreciation by the Rector of Gzhel State University for their active participation in the organization of the international scientific-practical conference.
