- The final certification of graduates of the 2025-2026 academic year is underway at YSU IB
On May 23, the defenses of the final theses of graduates of the educational programs "Armenian Language and Literature", "Psychology", "Finance (by field)", "Design", "Decorative and Applied Arts" will take place.
On May 30, the defenses of the final theses of graduates of the educational programs "Informatics and Applied Mathematics", "History", "English and Literature", "French and Literature" will take place.
The final attestation commission of the “Tourism” educational program was headed by Smbat Davtyan, senior lecturer of the Chair of Tourism and Service of the “V. Brusov State University” Foundation, candidate of technical sciences.
Out of 12 graduates who participated in the final attestation, 3 received “excellent”, 9 received “good”.
In order to further improve the implementation of graduation works, the chairman of the commission proposed to go beyond the borders of Tavush region and study national issues, and to further improve the quality of training of specialists, he proposed to include a new subject in the curriculum: “Tourism Cartography and Geographic Information Systems”.
The final attestation commission of the “Elementary Pedagogy and Methodology” educational program was headed by Greta Hakobyan, associate professor of the Chair of Pedagogy of the Armenian State Pedagogical University named after Kh. Abovyan. Of the 14 graduates who participated in the final attestation, 11 received "excellent" and 3 received "good."
The chairman of the committee considered it appropriate for further improvement to maintain the logical connection between the research objectives-problems-conclusions, to make the conclusions constructive and reflect the main results of the research, and to use publications from recent years in some works. In his opinion, although the selected topics were mainly actual, it would be desirable to pay more attention to current trends in technological developments. It was also proposed to emphasize more standards-based approaches, to study subject programs in depth, and to develop practical materials according to general education resources.
The final attestation committee of the “Russian Language and Literature” educational program was chaired by the head of the Chair of Russian Language and Teaching Methods of the Armenian State Pedagogical University named after Kh. Abovyan, Phd Associate Professor Naira Dalyan.
Out of 12 graduates who participated in the final attestation, 7 received “excellent”, 4 received “good”, and 1 received “satisfactory”.
In order to further improve the quality of training of specialists, the chairman of the commission proposed to continue research work, guided by modern methodology and practice, to use the latest scientific literature, to pay more attention to technical shortcomings. In order to further improve the general learning outcomes of the graduates, he proposed to use the knowledge gained in the framework of future work as a teacher.
On the occasion of receiving a bachelor's degree, on behalf of the YSU IB directorate and staff, we would like to congratulate our graduates who have passed the final attestation, wishing them new achievements and all the best, and we wish the others successful and effective defenses.
