On April 27-28, the Republican Student Olympiad of Russian was held at V. Bryusov State University, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the publication of the selected collection “Armenian Poetry: From Ancient Times to the Present Day” edited by Valery Bryusov.
73 students from 13 universities of Armenia participated in the Olympiad.
3 students from the second year of the “Russian Language and Literature” educational program of the YSU Ijevan branch participated, and 7 students from the third year (Rosa Adamyan, Seda Amirjanyan, Varduhi Asiryan, Erika Mkhitaryan, Izabella Sahakyan, Haykuhi Kokobelyan, Hasmik Kokobelyan, Vanuhi Tananyan, Mane Hovhannisyan, Nelly Movsisyan).
The results of the Republican Student Olympiad were summarized on May 25 of this year. The event was attended by the rector of V. Bryusov State University, Davit Gyurjinyan, the Russian Ambassador to Armenia, Sergey Kopyrkin, the director of the Russian Center for Science and Culture, Vadim Fefilov, representatives of the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of the Republic of Armenia, and guests from various universities of Armenia.
Nine of our students who participated in the Student Olympiad received diplomas and gifts, and one student, Nelly Movsisyan, was awarded the main prize.
