- The grand opening of the exhibition titled "Clay Border" took place
Vahram Galstyan and Aghasi Ghazaryan, lecturers of the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design of YSU IB, played a major role in organizing the exhibition entitled “Clay Border”.
The exhibition featured 16 collections of conceptual and sculptural ceramic works by graduates of the Faculty of Applied Arts L. Sargsyan, V. Gevorgyan, D. Ghaltakhchyan, A. Tamrazyan, N. Tamrazyan, E. Amyan, T. Aydinyan and A. Pirumyan.
The ceremonial opening was attended by members of the administrative and teaching staff of YSU IB, students, graduates, representatives of various spheres of the region, art lovers, and guests.
The opening and welcoming speeches were delivered by Vahan Aghababyan, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts, Hamlet Asatryan, Acting Head of the Department of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture, Vahram Galstyan and Aghasi Ghazaryan, lecturers of the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design, Levon Lachikyan, Associate Professor of the Department of Tourism Management and Culturology, and artist Lilit Sargsyan.
They welcomed the visitors to the exhibition, thanked the university administration, all supporters and participants of the exhibition, emphasized the importance of the exhibition in terms of strengthening the university-graduate connection, the significance of such initiatives in the spiritual and cultural life of the educational institution and the region.
The visitors were greatly impressed by the presented collections, with their mastery of execution and original solutions.
The exhibition opened at the "Vernatun" gallery will be open for a month.
