On October 29, 2024 an informational meeting-discussion with representatives of the European Union (EU) observation mission was held at the Innovative Knowledge Hub at YSU IB, which was attended by representatives of administrative and teaching staff and students of YSU Ijevan branch, and YSU Continuing Education Center.

On October 26, a board meeting was held under the chairmanship of A. H. Makaryan at Ijevan branch of YSU.

Within the framework of the implementation of the memorandum of cooperation signed between Ijevan branch of YSU and Yerevan "Gladzor" University on October 25-26, 2024 a two-day invited lecture-master class was organized at Ijevan branch of YSU for the 3rd and 4th year students of the "Foreign Language and Literature" specialty, dedicated to the development of knowledge, abilities and skills of professional English in a narrow field (legal and medical).

At Ijevan branch of YSU, a meeting was held with the director of "Hovani" educational foundation, Armen Alikhanyan, in which the acting director of YSU IB, A. Makaryan, head of Educational Methodology Department A. Davtyan and students were present.

On October 16, 2024 the presentation of the trilingual picture book "Police: Old and New" by Levon Lachikyan, docent of the Chair of Tourism Management and Cultural Studies, art critic and painter, was held in the library of Ijevan branch of YSU on October 16, which was accompanied by " Constantinople and Armenians; past and present" with a speech.

On October 11, 2024 the admission interviews and exams for the 2024-2025 master's off-site learning program with the "Business Administration (Management)" specialty "Management" and "School Pedagogy and Methodology" educational programs of the "General Pedagogy" specialty were held at YSU IB.

From October 5, 2024 YSU Ijevan branch started the training of teachers subject to regular certification, which will be carried out by leading and professional specialists of the branch, the republic and the region.

At the invitation of Ijevan branch of YSU, honorary doctor of philological sciences, professor of Middlebury College, Vermont, USA, Thomas R. Beyer held two-day lectures in English and Russian for students studying foreign languages ("ELG", "FLG", "RLG" educational programs).

At Ijevan branch of YSU meeting of the Academic Council was held under the chairmanship of A. H. Makaryan, during which the meeting schedule of the Academic Council of YSU IB for the 1st semester of 2024-2025 was approved (with proposed changes), the list of YSU IB students receiving nominal scholarships for the 1st semester of 2024-2025.

On September 27, 2024 the solemn opening ceremony of the re-equipped research laboratory with the support of the European Union and the Austrian Development Agency was held at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of YSU IB. In the opening of the laboratory European Union Green Agriculture Initiative in Armenia (EU GAIA) project manager Pascal Bokkers and green technology expert Vardan Torchyan, Deputy Governor of Tavush, RA Narek Ghushchyan, Acting Director of YSU IB A. Makaryan, officials of Ijevan Municipality, Tavush, Director of regional college named after Tevejian H. Brutyan, invited guests from the business sector and employees of the branch, professors and students were present.
