On the 110th commemoration of the Armenian Genocide

On April 24, 2025 on the 110th commemoration of the Armenian Genocide, members of the YSU IB staff and students, together with regional and city authorities and citizens, marched to the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex in Ijevan to pay tribute to the memory of the holy martyrs of the Great Genocide.

Lecture-discussion on the topic “Activating the Publication of Scientific Articles”

On April 19, 2025 the Department of Educational Reforms and Quality Assurance of YSU IB organized a lecture-discussion on the topic "Activating the Publication of Scientific Articles", which was conducted by Associate Professor of the Department of General Economics, Candidate of Economic Sciences Suren Parsyan.

The branch table tennis championship

On April 18, 2025 a branch table tennis championship was held at Ijevan branch of YSU, which was aimed at improving the sports skills of students and identifying the best athletes to form the YSU IB national team.

On April 18, 2025 the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B. N. Yeltsin hosted an international scientific and practical conference entitled “Foreign Language in Professional Communication in Real and Virtual Environments” in an online format, which brought together leading linguists, Russian scholars, foreign language specialists, as well as representatives of the international academic community.

Badminton Branch Championship

On April 17, 2025, a badminton branch championship was held at Ijevan branch of YSU, in which 25 students participated.

Jacques Bahry's visit to Ijevan branch of YSU

On April 16, 2025 French-Armenian Jacques Bahry, a member of the board of the Armenian Foundation of France, a founding member of the P. Devejian Regional College of Tavush, and the head of the agro-tourism development program in Tavush, visited the Ijevan branch of YSU.

Branch volleyball championship

On April 15, 2025 a branch volleyball championship was held in the gym of Ijevan branch of YSU in which teams of students of "Tourism", "Finance (by sector)", "Informatics and Applied Mathematics" educational programs participated.

YSU IB students participated in "Doing Digital Forum 2025"

On April 3, 2025 the third-year students of the distance learning "Finance (by field)" educational program of YSU IB, led by their lecturer, Associate Professor of the Department of General Economics, Candidate in Economic Sciences S. Parsyan, participated in "Doing Digital Forum 2025".

A temporary exhibition titled "Role of students in the liberal culture of Post-Soviet Armenia" at YSU IB

On March 29, 2025 at the initiative of Yerevan State University, a temporary exhibition entitled "The Role of Students in the Liberal Culture of Post-Soviet Armenia" was opened at the branch, the aim of which is to introduce students to the profound changes that took place in the social life of Soviet Armenia in the 1960s-80s and the role and influence of youth in them.
