It was initiated by the Center for Russian Language and Culture operating at YSU IB and the Russian House of Gyumri, with the support of the Russian company "Knowledge".

The Deputy Director of the Institute of Strategic Research and Forecasting of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Doctor of Historical Sciences, science expert and publicist, ambassador and lecturer of the Russian company "Knowledge", candidate for the "Knowledge: Award - 2024" Yevgeny Viktor Semibratov made a speech before the students and lecturers.

In his speech, Semibratov presented the origins of public diplomacy, why it has become an important tool for Russia, and how it has developed over the course of a century, from pre-revolutionary expeditions and geographical discoveries to international youth festivals, cultural exchanges, and scientific cooperation.

The students had a unique opportunity to look at Russia’s role in the world from a new perspective and understand how public diplomacy transforms international dialogue into vibrant human communication.
